Sometimes the only way to get a book started …or finished… is to escape life's distractions and be inspired! While solitude is vital for the writer, we want you to feel supported and to have access to help. While you are with us, you'll be able to get advice, encouragement and guidance from Helen on the editorial and submission processes with her one hour kickstart daily sessions, leaving the rest of the time to muse and master.
When you aren't writing, you can soak up the rural beauty all around you or soak in the hot tub whilst thinking, take an early morning dip in the pool (the house even has a traditional skittle alley!). The listed farmhouse is comfortable, well-equipped and has a calm, relaxing vibe. With delicious food, company if you want it, privacy if you don't, lots of different types of space in which to work and WiFi (but a mercifully poor mobile signal unless you go beyond the grounds), you should be able to get a lot done.
All meals, teas, coffees, snacks included. Please bring your own alcohol as we do not have a licence.
